 I applied my own ideas when I when I was adding objects on the deck of the ship such as the helm, barrels, ladders, designing the masts and designing the stern of the ship. I also designed the hull of the ship only using reference images. I followed a tutorial for the ocean but changed some of the properties that the waves were bigger. I would like 20/40 marks to be allocated to the design of the ship, 10/40 marks for the texturing of the ship and 10/40 for the for the texturing of the ocean and sky.

Final Project - Journal

Journal Day 1: Today I used diagrams to make a rough version of the hull of the ship. The hull has low detail so I will add more details next class Day 2: Today I added more details to the hull such as curves as well as adding two masts and sails. I plan on adding more details on the deck next class. Day 3: Today I worked on making the deck flat as well as adding stairs. Day 4: Today I made cannons on the deck and added windows for cannons below the deck. I will work on adding more detail to the stern of the ship next class.
